For those of you that don't...

Recently, my cat Minky was hit by a car... she's gone now.

I'm trying really really hard to not let it get to me too badly, at least not openly. My parents are out of town, and had I been alone, I probably would be a mess. 's been staying with me though, for which I'm very thankful <3

And you know... if nothing else... I'm pretty sure it was fast. There wasn't any obvious trauma done to her. No mangled limbs or anything. She just... looked like she was sleeping, and honestly, I think that made it that much harder... because I felt like when I stroked her head, she should have lifted it right up and meowed at me for disturbing her nap.

She's in a better place now... maybe she can hear again.
